IN THE PRESS: Creative flair on show

Custom-built in Booragoon, this new home project was designed for modern Australian living.

With sons aged two and seven, the owners of the property needed an abode that would adapt to the changing needs of a growing family.

The resulting bespoke custom build is a highly practical home which has been brilliantly designed to allow privacy when needed, as well as boasting plenty of entertaining options for when the family comes together.

Brian Burke Homes Group Managing Director Michael Burke said the home’s versatility would cater for a variety of lifestyles, with spacious living areas, excellent zoning and separate offshoot spaces for moments of peace and quiet.

“The parents’ retreat-come-study is a fantastic space where mum and dad can have some quiet moments to themselves in a bit of luxury, while the kids play in their own games room,” he said.

“When it’s family time, everyone can come together in the huge living spaces that flow out to the large backyard and pool.”

The kitchen acts a fantastic central meeting point within the home, as it branches off towards the living and sleeping spaces and boasts a great outlook to the stunning outdoors area.

“The 3m island bench in Qstone beton gris provides a great area for food preparation, as well as causal eating, while the Ash Woodline and Malibu gloss cabinetry provide a light and bright aesthetic,” Mr Burke said.

While boasting a largely neutral colour palette, there is plenty of creative flair on show throughout the home, and a number of luxury features which would be the envy of many.

Perhaps the highlight of the interior spaces is the master suite, where luxury design meets a creative edge.

“The master suite provides a sanctuary, with acoustic glazing and Gyprock ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep,” Mr Burke said

“The fully fitted dressing room provides storage for all clothing requirements and flows effortlessly through to the ensuite with its 3D hexagonal feature tiles, freestanding bath and large walk-in shower.”
